Summary of Role
Responsible for and focused on marketing, leadership, team development, oversight and execution of all aspects of media and communications. Areas of oversight include graphic design, social media, photography and video.
Position Status & Schedule
Full-time (40 hours), Sunday-Thursday. Christmas & Easter service dates and times are black out days for time off. There will be other events that you are required to work outside of your normal schedule, you will be informed in advance of any of these requirements.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
• Research and attain a thorough understanding of the vision and culture of Celebration Church
• Lead efforts to develop, design and produce all art and promotional materials for all Celebration Church campuses with a high standard of creativity, excellence, and effectiveness
• Direct team leads to ensure the culture and vision of Celebration Church is captured and communicated effectively
• Participate in overall creative process; including message brainstorming meetings and collaborating on creative uses of media in order to promote the weekend experience and message series
• Create consistency in messaging in all areas of communication
• Develop creative ways to communicate desired messages for services and events
• Build systems to organize, prioritize, and communicate promotional items related to Celebration Church with oversight of all written materials related to promotions
• Create communication strategies to market, inform, and promote message series, events, conferences, and other campaigns as assigned
• Create positive relationships with local and national media and act as the primary liaison between the church and the various media organizations. Write press releases upon request.
• Oversee efforts related to securing or responding to media attention and develop policy and procedures related to media relations.
• Recruit and retain dream team and staff team members
• Develop relationships through phone, email, social media and professional networking
• Gather, organize, and analyze information (market behavior, trends, competition, etc.) to plan advertising campaigns
• Initiate market research studies, analyze data, and present findings
• Content proof-reading and editing

Education & Experience
• 3 years Communications & Marketing experience, Bachelor’s degree in a related field from accredited college or university preferred but not essentail
• 2 years experience in a ministry role or a very thorough understanding of ministry in a local church environment (via high level volunteer experience, etc.)
Work Environment & Physical Demands
• Must be able to stand, stoop, walk, and lift 20 pounds.
• Open office environment
