CA Worship Coordinator

CA WORSHIP COORDINATOR

Reports to: Worship Director and Campus Pastor

Summary of Role

Implement the vision of Celebration Church and its’ Senior Pastors by coordinating details related to Worship elements at our Central Austin Campus. Connect people to their destiny by connecting them with Christ, our church and their call through engaging and inspiring worship experiences.

      Position Status & Schedule

  • Non-Exempt, Hourly

  • Full-time (40 hours)

  • Sunday through Thursday

  • Christmas, Easter and Dream Team Appreciation service dates and times are black out days for time off.

    There may be other events that you are required to work outside of your normal schedule, you will be informed in advance of any of these requirements.


    Essential Functions & Responsibilities

    Leadership

  • Assist the Worship Director in the development of musicians and vocalists through the Accelerate development program

  • Coordinate and lead rehearsal programming, teams and musical arrangements for CA Worship Dream Team

  • Assist the Worship Director and Campus Pastor with planning and leading worship and creative elements for all CA services

    Services

       • Participate with Worship Team for weekend services, student services, conferences and events, and campus specific events

        Administrative

       • Utilize Planning Center Online for coordination of Worship Dream Team Members for weekend services including set up and tear down, events and student services.

         Dream Team

  • Recruit, train and lead team members for the CA Worship Dream Teams

  • Build and maintain relationships with Dream Team members

  • Set-up times and schedules to audition potential Worship Team members

  • Assist in creating systems and procedures for Dream Team members to utilize

    Financial

  • Assist with annual budgeting and monthly budget updates

  • Enter worship expenses into applicable system and maintain up to date expense reports

  • Utilize purchasing system to procure needed items

    Education & Experience

  • 1 years' successful experience in training systems and recruiting

  • Must be proficient with Planning Center

  • Must complete Accelerate program upon hire


    Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

  • Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office and Church facility.

  • Must be able to position self to maintain supplies and equipment on lower shelves and in closets.

  • Frequently move supplies and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds

  • Constantly work in open office environment
