CA Facilities Manager
Status: Non-exempt (hourly)
Reports To: Facilties Director
Summary of Role
Responsible for maintenance and repairs at Celebration Central Austin campus. Responsible to lead and direct Facilities Dream Team at CA location to ensure consistency and excellence of facility.
Position Status & Schedule
Non-exempt (hourly), full-time Sunday-Thursday with a goal of 40 hours worked. Christmas, Easter and Dream Team Appreciation service dates and times are black out days for time off. There may be other events that you are required to work outside of your normal schedule, you will be informed in advance of any of these requirements.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
• Responsible for completing and coordinating maintenance and repair services for campus
• Manage implementation of renovations and building projects
• Complete submitted facilities and equipment maintenance requests in a timely manner
• Ensure excellence in the upkeep of church facilities and campus grounds
• Ensure resources and furniture are prepared and ready for events. This includes set-up and tear-down for small groups, meetings, events, and weekend services
• Coordinate system repairs and monitor system performance
• Fix, repair, or schedule routine check-ups for facility equipment and building
• Perform spot cleaning or remedial repairs for facilities if needed
• Plan and maintain campus maintenance budget, ensuring we are stewarding resources wisely and staying on budget
• Maintain adequate facility supplies and order items as necessary
• Recruit and develop a facility dream team to assist in set up and tear downs and other facilities needs
• Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols
• Responsible for opening, closing, and securing facilities and campus

Education & Experience
• 3 years in facilities management and relevant work experience
• Working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems
• Proficient in Mac OSX, Microsoft Office, and Apple Operating Systems
Work Environment & Physical Demands
• Able to stand, stoop, walk and lift heavy objects (50 pounds) and work in a variety of weather conditions, with exposure to outdoor elements
• Able to perform repetitive physical tasks (i.e. stacking chairs, unstacking chairs, setting chairs out in rows, setting up folding tables and chairs in large venues)
• Will operate lawn maintenance equipment, lift, power tools, and other equipment needed to perform assigned tasks
