Connections Coordinator
Title: Connections Coordinator
Status: Full-time, non-exempt
Reports to: Teams & Events Coordinator
Summary of Role
Support the vision of Celebration Church by building and developing Connection Dream Teams where people Serve with Purpose—providing leadership and oversight within those departments and ministries that directly connect people with the life and heart of our church.
Position Status & Schedule
Full-time, non-exempt. Three Saturdays a month 3p-7p, Sunday 8a-1:30p, Monday - Thursday (with a goal of 40 hours worked). This schedule will need to be flexible around major Church-wide Events. Christmas & Easter service dates and times are black out days for time off. There may be other events that you are required to work outside of your normal schedule, you will be informed in advance of any of these requirements.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
• Lead and support all Connections Dream Teams including Baptism, Communion, Connections, and Connection Point.
• Communicate regularly with team leads and continually develop leadership.
• Connect and build relationships with team members and ensure leaders are doing the same.
• Oversee onboarding and exit of Connections Dream Team members and ensure Dream Team members in these ministries are well cared for.
• Share vision, culture and DNA of Celebration Church continually with all Teams and guests.
• Collect stories and celebrate people.
• Provide an excellent first-time guest experience and ensure people are easily connected to the church.
• Assist in set up and execution of weekend services, baptisms and special events as needed.
• Work with other staff departments to ensure IT, food, and facilities needs are in place for services and events
• Coordinate monthly baptizers and baptism experience.
• Serve as a liaison between Connection Point and other ministries in getting people connected to the church.
• Update forms and work with Communications Team to ensure all marketing materials and online information is accurate.
• Coordinate and lead Connection Point Step 4 experience.
• Manage CCB groups and process queues, keeping accurate records and following up with individuals.
• Develop, implement, and maintain excellent systems for all ministry areas, always looking to refine and improve.

Education & Experience
• 2+ years successful leadership experience, preferably with Dream Team (volunteers)
• Experience serving with a Guest Experience or Connection focused Dream Team preferred
Work Environment & Physical Demands
• Must be able to stand (for extended periods of time), stoop, walk, and lift 20 pounds.
• Open office environment
• Able to work in a variety of weather conditions,
with exposure to outdoor elements
(heat, cold, wind, rain, etc.)
