Reports to: Social Content Lead
Manage the church’s digital image in a cohesive way to achieve communication and marketing goals using Social Media platforms.
Position Status & Schedule
Non-Exempt, full-time (40 hours), Sunday - Thursday 9am-5pm. Christmas, Easter and Dream Team Appreciation service dates and times are black out days for time off. There may be other events or holidays that you are required to work outside of your normal schedule, you will be informed in advance of any of these requirements.
Primary Functions & Responsibilities
• Develop, plan, design, implement, and execute marketing strategies for Social Media that creatively and clearly align with church goals
• Develop, plan, and execute an editorial calendar and posting schedule
• Create, edit, and publish engaging content daily
• Track and report on the effectiveness, engagement, and impact of Social Media efforts. Set specific objectives and report on follower/audience engagement
• Execute photo and video editing needs that are directly related to Social Media
• Assist ministries by providing direction with Social Media accounts to ensure a cohesive church brand
• Lead, initiate, and participate in ongoing Social Media messaging and conversations across Social Media channels, respond to followers in a timely manner, and build a following
• Collaborate with team(s) to create and distribute shareable images for church staff and congregation to post on social outlets
• Collaborate with team(s) and/or compile video footage and create short video clips for social outlets
• Maintain Social Media accounts design and information (e.g. timeline cover, profile pictures, church information) listed within profiles/accounts
• Responsible to deliver all Weekend Statistics for Facebook Live / Streaming / Views / Engagements to attendance@celebration.church every Monday morning
• Lead, build, and train Social Media Dream Teams to assist with posting content and interacting with people through Social Media outlets
• Mature Christian who calls Celebration Church home and supports the Church’s culture, vision, and values

• Must have completed or complete all steps of Connection Point within 60 days of hire
• Proven ability to meet deadlines
• Basic working knowledge of Premiere Pro, After Effects, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Photography and Videography skills
• Editing skills and working knowledge of Lightroom
• Strong creative and written communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
• Willingness to work outside of normal business hours
• 2+ years of Marketing, Communications and/or related professional experience in Social Media field
Work Environment & Physical Demands
• Must be able to stand, stoop, walk, and lift 20 pounds
• Open office team environment
