CLASSIFICATION: Flexible Part Time (FPT) - Average of 10-16 hours per week*

MANAGER: Pastor over Live Production
GENERAL WORK
WEEK: Sundays & Wednesdays with occasional special projects
Typical - Sundays 6 am – 12:30 pm; Wednesdays 4 pm-9 pm
LOCATION: Argyle
JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Tech – Lighting/Video role is to
provide support to the live production team.
This role will be responsible for stage lighting programming, lighting
operation, and general technical support for various service types in both the
Student Center and the main Worship Center for Sundays, Wednesdays, and other
events as scheduled.

EXPECTATION:
As a condition of employment with Cross Timbers, it
is essential (required) that employees and their families become active
participants in the life and ministry of CT.
This includes regular attendance to services and finding a way to
volunteer with a ministry not in the scope of this job.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in stage lighting,
lighting for video, safe rigging, conventional and LED fixtures, moving lights,
DMX, ArtNet, and sACN
- Ability to program and operate GrandMA consoles is
a must, including Mode 2 and 3, as well as on PC software
- Willing and open to change, be flexible in a
variety of situations
- A team player giving and receiving input, willing
to compromise & cooperate
- Exhibit clear and effective verbal and non-verbal
communications skills
- Able
to develop people and systems to optimize growth and effectiveness
- Forward thinker who assumes responsibility and
takes initiative
- Must possess a genuine humility and work well in
the context of a team
- Clearance of a criminal background check
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Programming
and operating of the lighting for Sunday morning services, Wednesday
evening Student services, and special events as needed
- Oversee
and manage stage design changes multiple times a year, to include striking
and resetting of fixtures, cabling, rigging, along with changes to
lighting network and DMX addressing
- Assistance
in maintaining lighting systems including fixture cleaning, re-lamping new
fixture installation, and troubleshooting as needed.
- Possible
assistance and support with various other live production projects
- Collaboration
and interaction with the full Production team as well as other staff
ministry teams
- Attend essential (required) staff
meetings/functions as assigned by the manager and/or Leadership.

WORK ENVIRONMENT – PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Position
requires bending, stooping, and stretching to complete various tasks, and
occasional lifting of boxes weighing up to 25-50 pounds. Work is generally
performed indoors but may involve limited exposure to outdoor weather
conditions.
COMMENTS:
*This role cannot exceed 29 hours per week. Actual hours will vary some per the notation
above. There is no guarantee of a
minimum number of hours.
